Hot, hot pink!

Congratulations to Megan and Jacob on their recent marriage! The bride carried this stunning cascading bouquet of hot pink peonies, mini calla lilies, and tulips, accented with lime green hanging amaranthus.

Two October weddings

Our wedding season is winding down! This weekend we have only two weddings on our calendar, with two entirely different looks. Our Friday wedding features a bride’s bouquet that is lush and organic. It contains red and ivory roses, blush spray roses, blush astilbe, pink ranunculus, burgundy hypericum and seeded eucalyptus. Saturday’s wedding features a bride’s bouquet that is sophisticated … Read More

A lush, organic wedding bouquet

Our bride last weekend wanted a bouquet that was lush, organic and very romantic. This exquisite bouquet captured the feeling exactly! Included in the bouquet were red dahlias, red mini calla lilies, blue eryngium, peach hypericum, pink ranunculus, brilliant cherry brandy roses, green sunflowers, purple wax flowers and seeded eucalyptus, with a touch of curly willow.

A Pittsburgh summer wedding

One of our recent weddings featured this bride’s bouquet with a very organic, “fresh picked from the garden” look. It is composed of medium pink roses, dark pink spray roses, light pink carnations, pink sweet pea, light blue delphinium, green hypericum and seeded eucalyptus.

Winter wedding flowers

It’s been a whirlwind wedding season here at the Blumengarten! Frankly, what with attending to multiple weddings each weekend, there never seems to be enough time to take photos and write blog posts. In November the wedding season quiets down a bit. The cooler weather brings out looks for our brides that are quite different from the lush garden flowers of summer. This … Read More

Rainbow bridesmaid bouquets…

For one of our weddings this weekend, the bridesmaids wore black, but their bouquets were a rainbow of colors: The bride’s bouquet contained white hydrangea, white freesia, ivory roses and hypericum, and was festooned with antique brooches and pearl accents: Beautiful!

Two beautiful color palettes for wedding flowers…

Here are bouquets from recent weddings that highlight two beautiful color combinations: This elegant and contemporary pairing uses green flowers to highlight the traditional bridal white.  Our bridesmaid bouquet features two shades of green with mini hydrangea and kermit pomps, combined with white hydrangea and ivory spray roses. This vibrant and contemporary color combination combines bold orange gerbera daisies, hot … Read More

Weekend wedding at Armstrong Farms

Our bride today is carrying a bouquet of mini sunflowers, gerbera daisies, circus roses, alstromeria, tulips, rannuculus, alstromeria and hypericum.  This is a stunning color pallette, for a stunning local wedding venue.

An Easter weekend wedding

For a wedding this Easter weekend, our bride chose bouquets containing assorted blooms in vibrant spring colors. These bouquets are simple and budget-minded, but far from ordinary.  The bouquets contain carnations, mini carnations, daffodils, tulips, daisy pomps, cushion pomps, lisianthus, wax flower and solidago. They are truly a vision of spring!
