We can deliver flower arrangements, plush animals, plants and mylar balloons to cheer the patient and aid in the healing process. Don’t have a room number? Don’t worry! The excellent staff at Children’s Hospital accepts deliveries at the front desk and calls up to the room to alert them of a delivery. The package is kept securely at the Welcome Desk for the family to retrieve when available.
AHN West Penn Hospital is located at 4800 Friendship Avenue in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. West Penn Hospital has been a part of Pittsburgh since 1848. Did you know it served as the primary triage center for Union forces during the Civil War? Today, West Penn Hospital has a busy maternity ward welcoming new babies to Pittsburgh. When AGH was being built, our flower shop was still in its beginnings with Tim’s Great-Great Grandfather, E.C. Ludwig, and his flower stall in the nearby Market House. Five generations later, we are still delivering get well arrangements to patients at AGH!
